Science -Lighting up our day!!🌈🔬
This week in Year 6 Science, we explored light through scientific investigation. We learned that the light from the sun is called white light, and although it looks colourless, it is actually made up of all the colours of the rainbow 🌈.
We investigated what happens when light travels through a prism. The glass slows the light down and makes it change direction. We discovered that different colours slow down by different amounts, which causes the light to split into a rainbow pattern ✨.
We worked scientifically by observing carefully, discussing our ideas, and explaining what we saw — just like real scientists! 🧠🔍
