What a fantastic and busy week we’ve had in Year 3!
✏️ English
This week we explored the features of letter writing and practiced using emotive language to make our writing more exciting and detailed. We have structured some detailed sentences using a range of adjectives.
➗ Maths
In Maths, we learned about dividing and focused on how to divide by 10 using place value charts. We worked really hard and showed great understanding! We have spotted patterns and then used different numbers including decimals!
🏰 History
In History, we learned about King Canute. Did you know he was the first Viking King of England? We discovered the famous story where he showed that a king could not control the tide —only God could. This showed his people that God was more powerful than the King.
🎭 Performance Time!
On Thursday and Friday, we performed Hoodwinked 🎶 with Year 4 in front of our families and friends 👨👩👧👦. The show was a HUGE success! 🌟
We were so proud of ourselves for conquering our fears, managing our nerves, and remembering all our songs and lines 🎤👏
