Reception had a fantastic time on the school Trip on Wednesday. We made dens, went on a nature walk, planted seeds, learned about life cycles and spent time bird watching. We all sat together for a picnic at lunchtime. The children’s behaviour was amazing and we are very proud of them.
In Literacy this week we have been drawing then writing instructions for planting cress seeds. The children tried hard to think of the sounds they needed with increasing independence. In Maths we have been representing seven in different ways. We are encouraging the children to use the language “five is a part, two is a part, seven is the whole”.
