In science, Year 4 started the term by recapping their knowledge of teeth which they had learned in Year 3. They then extended their knowledge by looking at the structure of a tooth.
In English, we started reading and learning about Charles Dickens, who is the author that we will be studying this term through his novel Oliver Twist.
Our whole class reading is also connected to this, as we learn about the Victorian era, the workhouse, what Victorian schools were like and Queen Victoria.
