➗ Maths
This week we have been working on fractions and learning the importance of equal parts . We found fractions, made our own fractions, and explored equivalent fractions too. Great teamwork and thinking!

📚 English

In English, we created our own instructions on how to make fireworks 🎆. We used imperative verbs, time connectives, and laid our instructions out clearly using numbers. Our writing was clear, exciting, and easy to follow!

🌏 Geography
We explored the continent of Asia and labelled some of its major rivers. We then learned about how the Indus Valley civilisation lived close to the river and discussed why rivers were so important for everyday life.

🎵 Music
In Music, we took on the challenge of playing a traditional nursery rhyme on the recorder. We learned new notes and practised how to play them carefully—great concentration from everyone!

🏛️ Latin
In Latin, we created our own mythical creatures using a range of Latin words. We also discovered that hippopotamus means “river horse”—how cool is that?

What a fantastic learning week! We are so proud of all the effort and enthusiasm shown by everyone. Keep it up!
