What an incredible week of learning, teamwork and creativity! Our classroom has been buzzing with effort, imagination and curiosity from start to finish.
✏️ English
In English, we have been working extremely hard on re‑drafting our narratives. Everyone experimented with a wider range of vocabulary to make their writing more exciting and powerful. Mrs Broda‑Kaye was so pleased with our improvements — she noticed how confidently we are choosing ambitious words.
📐 Maths
In Maths, we completed our unit on angles. We can now identify right angles and even made them using classroom resources. We went further by spotting angles larger and smaller than a right angle and created our own examples. Such brilliant hands‑on learning!
🏰 History
In History, we explored how the Battle of Bosworth was fought and learned about the brutality of medieval warfare. We studied how this battle ended the War of the Roses and began the Tudor dynasty. The class showed great interest in how one battle changed England’s future forever. 👑
🌏 Geography
In Geography, we travelled all the way to China (in our imaginations!) 🇨🇳 to study the incredible Great Wall of China. We were amazed by its size, history and beauty. What an astonishing man‑made structure — truly wow!
⚾ PE
To finish our week, we enjoyed a brilliant session of rounders. ⚾ We worked hard on communicating clearly as we ran between posts and supported each other while batting. Fantastic teamwork, encouragement and energy all round!
